So, what’s my story?

I’ve always been obsessed with the intersection of connection and innovation.

As a kid, I was the one nerding out over both classic literature and the latest gadgets—reading Toni Morrison with one hand and coding with the other (okay, maybe not literally, but you get the idea). That curiosity turned into a career in research, academia, and ultimately, digital strategy and design.

Along the way, I earned a PhD in Computer Mediated Communication, taught communication and tech at the university level, and worked on everything from virtual reality to podcast production to brand strategy.

But here’s the truth: I didn’t take the tidy, linear path.
I zigged. I zagged. I burned a few rulebooks.
And through it all, I stayed committed to one thing—helping people communicate with courage.

Because when we do that? We change systems. We challenge narratives. We create something that lasts.
